Not all dogs are the same and are evaluated at time of our meeting to help us
determine the pups ability. While the training outline is the same for each dog,
the method and pace may differ based on the dog’s temperament, personality,
socialization, and ability to learn. Whether you have a puppy or an older dog
each can be taught to become a valued family member.
Dogs are trained, one on one and the foundation( training) the dog learns is
never forgotten for the life of the dog providing owners maintain the foundation
at home.

Basic Obedience – Is a 8 week
program that covers four commands
(sit, here, heel and down) on and off
lead starting at 6 months of age or
older.

Basic Gun Dog
4-5 Month Program....6mos old
This course will teach your pup. How to be obedient in
the blind, boat or home. Heel ,Here ,Sit ,Sit from a
distance. Proper fetch and hold. Steady to gun.
Intro to marking. BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS. Your pup will
see ducks, pheasant, quail and pigeons We teach
them what a cripple is and let them find out what there
nose is for.
Quarter for upland birds
Your pup will be introduced to many different hunting
situations. Heavy cover land and water. Boat work
and flooded timber. If in season we take your dog on
actual hunts. We also use live flyers,with remote
launchers. We will simulate real hunting scenarios,both
for waterfowl and up-land. Many field trips to teach pup
not to be afraid of new surroundings
4-5 Month Program....6mos old

very steady with the trainer (Throwing the
bird) but...HOW will she act with a novice
handler...This is a very energetic Lean Mac
line pup ..Many dogs will try to take
advantage of the owner,who does not really
know how to keep his dog under control.

the collar...He hates control but the eye
contact is still there..I am specifically
working on HERE..He is a bad cat &
mouse pup...I am loose on the leash so I
can move ahead of him so I can use the
command here (Move him forward) and
NICK him on the collar...If I have him sit
out in front of me..I DO NOT nick him if he
gets up....He is very nervous,which is
natural..every command you say at this
point is here in his mind..( You are high
lighting it with the collar)..You do not
want to see saw back and forth ..The pup
may not understand why it is being
nicked..I always pet and talk to the pup to
help ease the tension...
